Attention, adventurous equestrians!

Explorer Trail.
From June 27th to July 16th, I will be riding through the High Tatras in Slovakia – and if you have ever ridden with me, you can apply to come along.

But beware: This is not for Sunday riders or pony farm romantics – only those who have their own horse, proven on long-distance rides and suitable for the Alps, are allowed to go on this wild trip.

Only two places are available – so be quick before all the horses are there!

We ride across the foothills of the Carpathians, sleep independently in nature, and carry our whole world on horseback. Occasionally we treat ourselves to the luxury of a mountain hut or a guesthouse, but most of the time it's: starry skies instead of electrical outlets, campfires instead of room service.
This is an A-level ride. "A" for adventure – or also for "Attention, this will be legendary!"
I'll bring the shared equipment and our self-sufficient food supplies – so don't worry, you won't have to chew on tree bark.

Your horse should be well-equipped, wearing Duplo shoes and a rope halter, and able to live off the land – meaning grass rather than a gourmet diet. We'll occasionally provide oats, but that's more of a bonus than a guarantee.

We are on the road for almost three weeks and cover about 600 kilometers – or, if you take altitude and terrain into account, almost 900 performance kilometers.
In short: You should be fit, your horse too – and your sense of humor as well.

The starting and finishing point is Nedbudska Luka in Slovakia. We'll be traveling there with two trailers and returning there as well – hopefully tired, happy, and a little bit wilder than before.

Cost: 1000 CHF for the tour (excluding transport, half-board at the inn and drinks).
